Make sure the person or company details match the documents and the vehicle.

Arrange an independent inspection
View the vehicle in person and use a mechanic or inspector you select.

Pay only when you are ready
Do not send money under pressure. Record the terms, obtain a receipt and complete the transfer correctly.
